Day 1 Arrive in Xian

In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Xi'an downtown or Xi'an train station, you will find a welcome signage "Xi'an Private Tour". You will be escorted to your hotel directly, our tour guide will help you check-in.

After short break, you will start your tour with Xi'an Ancient City Wall. As one of the UNESCO's world Heritage Site, Xi'an Ancient City Wall was built in the 14th century, under the regime of Emperor Zhuyuanzhang in Ming dynasty, had the function of protecting the cities or towns as military defense systems in ancient China. Xi'an Ancient City Wall is one of the oldest, largest and best preserved Chinese city walls, exhibits the "complete features of the rampart architecture of feudal society". Xi'an City Wall is about 14km in length, 12meters in height. The current city wall is an enhancement of the old Tang Dynasty structure, as a result of the emperor's wall building campaign. Now, Ancient City Wall is one of the top attractions in Xi'an city. Cycling is a good choice for visitors go around and appreciate the construction in Ancient China.

Day 2 Xian

After breakfast, our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby.

Firstly, drive you to the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. Shaanxi Provincial Museum is one of the four largest museums in China ( the other three are Forbidden City Museum, Shanghai Museum and Henan Provincial Museum.  It is a giant architectural complex in the Tang-dynasty style. It occupies an area of 70,000 square metres, and the construction area being more than 50,000 square metres. It focuses on the highlights of the Shaanxi culture and depicts the development of the Chinese civilization. 
Highlights: It was regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures” where reflect over one thousand years of Chinese history, the splendid culture and people life in ancient times. The exhibition space is divided into an introductory hall, permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions, and temporary exhibitions, as well as one that has been named the National Painting Hall. It not only show the span of culture in ancient Shaanxi, but also show the highest level of cultural development of China's social economy.

After that visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Big Wild Goose Pagoda is the symbol of the old-line Xi'an, a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburb of Xian City. The bracket style used in traditional Chinese architecture was also used in the construction of the pagoda. The seams between each layer of bricks and the "prisms" on each side of the pagoda are clearly visible. The grand body of the pagoda with its solemn appearance, simple style and high structure, is indeed a good example of Chinese traditional architecture.

Continue your tour to Bell Tower, Which located in south east of the Drum Tower. In Chinese history from Ming Dynasty, each city had a bell tower and a drum tower. The bell was sounded at dawn and the drum at dusk each day in ancient time, a means of telling time. Xian was not exception. The Bell Tower and Drum Tower of Xi'an date back to the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The two are located in the center of the Xian city connecting the four roads from east, south, west and north within the city wall. Atop the Bell Tower you will have a panoramic view of the Xian City.

A number of highlighted cultural relics are exhibited in Xi’an Bell Tower, including a huge bell, inscribed steles and couplets hung on the column, all of which are of high historical and cultural values.

The final stop is Muslim Quarter. Muslim Quarter festures Muslim food and souvenir market, is the hub of the Muslim community in Xian City. About 500 meters (about 547 yards) in length from south to north, the street can be reached through the archway under the Drum Tower. This street is paved with dark colored stone with green trees providing heavy shade during summer; the buildings on both sides of the street are modeled on the styles of both the Ming (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasties (1644-1911). Some of the constructions are restaurants; while others are stores. But here there is one thing in common: the owners are all Muslims.

Drive you back to your hotel and you can have a rest.

Day 3 Xian

After breakfast, our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and you will continue your Xi'an. 

Firstly, you will be taken to Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum (around 40 minutes for one way). To visit Army of Terracotta Warriors is the main reason why you are here in Xian. The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife.

After finished Terracotta Warriors, have lunch at a local Chinese restaurant which servces authentic food, our guide will give you good recommendations on spot.

After your tour ends, drive you to your hotel or Xian train station.
