Day 1 Arrive in Xi'an

Today, unpon your arrival in Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, you will greeted by your local Xi'an tour guide at the exit of the airport with a welcome signage "Xi'an Private Tour". And you will start your tour in China directly.

Your adventure begins with the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses:Known as “the eighth Wonders of the world”, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture which is listed as the most significant discovery of the 20th century. Up to now, there has discovered a total of 179 accompanying burial pits of different connotations and various shapes in Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum area. The discovery of these pits has provided all important significance in the research of the burial system of the Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum, the characteristics structures and characteristics of the burial pits. However. what makes people feel amazing is that of all the burial pits, none has been found survived from being burnt down.

Day 2 Xi'an

After breakfast, our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby on time. Today you will start your tour with Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Your first destination is Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or Big Wild Goose Pagoda, is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China and became the symbol of the old-line Xi'an. It was built in 652 during the Tang dynasty and originally had five stories. The structure was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian, and its exterior brick facade was renovated during the Ming dynasty. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda attracts numerous visitors for its fame in the Buddhist religion and its simple but appealing style of construction. It is rated as a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.

Then drive you to the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. It is situated 1km away, northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. If you are interested in Chinese history, Shaanxi Provincial Museum is a must on your Xian trip. It is one of the four largest museums in China (the other three are Forbidden City Museum, Shanghai Museum and Henan Provincial Museum). It is a giant architectural complex in the Tang-dynasty style. It occupies an area of 70,000 square metres, and the construction area being more than 50,000 square metres. It focuses on the highlights of the Shaanxi culture and depicts the development of the Chinese civilization.

Have lunch at the local restaurant which serves authentic food, our tour guide will give you good recommendations on spot.

In the afternoon, you will head for Bell Tower. Bell Tower sits in the center of Xi’an ancient city, which is the largest and the best-retained one of its kind in China, and it’s of a high historical and artistic value. The Bell Tower is resplendent and magnificent, on the top of which stands a gilded bottle-shaped ornament which shines brightly in the sun. A 6-meter (20 feet) tall arched gate opens in the west, east, north and south sides respectively, through which all traffic passes. A number of highlighted cultural relics are exhibited in Xi’an Bell Tower, including a huge bell, inscribed steles and couplets hung on the column, all of which are of high historical and cultural values.

The last stop is Muslim Qaurter. the Muslim Quarter is the hub of the Muslim community in Xian City, Shaanxi Province. Located to the north of the West Street in the city center, the quarter covers several blocks inhabitated by over 20,000 Muslims. Muslim food and souvenir market is another feature of the area. There are also a great many muslim snacks to be found along this street, such as preserved meat, casserole, various noodles, and so on. They are waiting for you to enjoy.

Drive you back to your hotel in Xi'an and today your tour ends.

Day 3 Leave for Shanghai by Flight

Firstly, drive to the Yu Garden, the best private garden in Shanghai. It was considered the best garden in southeast China. It enjoyed a history over 400 years since its first establishment by Pan yunduan who had intended to bring happiness and pleasure to his parents and relatives. This garden which is a must for visitors from the foreign countries represents the past of Shanghai. The pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters in the garden all have unique characteristics. Next to the Garden is the most popular bazaar in Shanghai, here you can see a wide range of local street food, souvenirs, etc.

Then head to the Shanghai City God Temple. Shanghai city god temple is located in the bustling complex located around Yu Gardens, it is a folk temple in Shanghai. Up to Now, it has more than 600 years of history. Since its establishment, the scale of Shanghai City God Temple gradually expanded till the age ranging from 1821 to 1850. At its peak time, the total area is over 49.9 mu, roughly 33,000 square meters. 

Shanghai city god temple was not only famous for it's unique history or building, but also the best ancient local food street, And the Chenghuang temple has a great influence on the residents of Shanghai, because the religious festivals of the temple are considered to be the festivals of all Shanghai people.

The final stop is The Bund. The Bund, reputed as "An Exhibition of International Buildings", is located on the west bank of Huangpu River, facing the dominating Oriental Pearl Tower. Travelers can feel the charm of the exotic old Shanghai, as well as witness the modern Shanghai over the river at the Bund. You could overlook the modern Shanghai on the east bank of Huangpu River and see the landmarks and other buildings clearly. If time permits, get into some buildings and learn the background of the splendid architectures and history of Shanghai. Take a stroll along the Bund in the daytime, and you can explore the Lover’s Wall of 1,700 meters long,

Day 4 Shanghai, Leave for Beijing by Flight

Your first spot is Jade Buddha Temple: The Jade Buddha Temple, also known as the Shanghai Yufo Temple, is one of the most important Buddhist temples in Shanghai, China. The Jade Buddha Temple was founded in 1882 by Abbot Hui Gen during the reign of Emperor Guang Xu (1875-1908) of the Qing Dynasty and burned down after having been occupied during the 1911 revolution. The temple takes its name from the original two white jade Buddha statues that abbot Hui Gen brought with him from Burma—a sitting statue about 1.95 m (almost 6 1/2 ft) in height and a smaller reclining Buddha. Move on to Shanghai Museum. The Shanghai Museum, established in 1952, is as well-known as the Museum of Ancient Chinese Art.  It was relocated twice prior to finding a permanent home in 1996 at its present location, south of the People's Plaza. It is famous for its large collection of rare cultural pieces. The museum now houses over 120,000 precious historical relics in twelve categories, including Chinese bronze, ceramics, paintings, furniture, calligraphy, seals, jades, ancient coins, and sculptures.

Firstly, start to explore the historical face of Beijing with a brief visit to Tiananmen Square which is now the largest city plaza in the world. Tiananmen Square is the geographical center of Beijing City. It is the largest city square in the world, occupying an area of 440,000 square meters (about 109 acres), and able to accommodate 1,000,000 people at one time. Tiananmen Gate on the northern square was the site where the Chairman Mao announced the establishment of the People's Republic of China. The square is a conglomeration of splendid and beautiful flowers and the red national flag which flutters in the wind. The raising of the national flag is something which should not be missed by visitors to Tiananmen Square.

After sightseeing, walk into the Tiananmen you will meet the one of the world’s 5 most important palaces Forbidden City. The Forbidden City, also named the Palace Museum, shares the honor of being one of five world-famous palaces with the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in England, the White House in the U.S. and the Kremlin in Russia. The incomparable palace occupies an area of 720,000 square meters (177.9 acres) and has approximately 8,700 rooms. A high red wall with a total length of 3,400 meters (3,718 yards) encases the palace. 

The palace, the most magnificent and splendid palace complex in China, was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Building in 1987. The Forbidden City is the imperial palace where twenty-four emperors ascended the throne and exercised their strong power to the nation and reigned over the country for over 500 years. More than one million civilian workers spent about fourteen years to complete this most brilliant palace in China history. Pass through various doorways to admire the magnificent and well preserved buildings decorated with yellow glazed tile roof, white marble base and splendid colorful paintings.

Have lunch at the local restaurant, taste the local cuisine in Beijing, and have a rest for a while.

In the afternoon, drive about 6km to next imperial site - Temple of Heaven. The temple was constructed in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and was enlarged during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It is the grandest cult architecture complex in the world and a masterpiece of the Chinese people created in ancient times. It covers 2,700,000 square meters (667 acres). Emperors of the two dynasties used to worship the heaven and pray for rich harvests, as the feudal emperors thought they were the son of the heaven. 

It is also one of the most brilliant ancient architectural masterpieces in China. Today, it is a pleasant place for leisure stay of walking or sightseeing, also for exploration of local culture.

Day 6. Beijing, Leave Beijing

Firstly, drive about 70km (1.5 h) to witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Great Wall. The less-crowded Mutianyu. "If you haven't climbed the Great Wall, you haven't seen China." It is indeed an experience of life. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. It's known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. Also we have arranged the round-way cable cars for you to ascend and descend the wall. This is a special experience when visiting Mutianyu Great Wall and at the same time it will maximize your time on the wall.

In the afternoon, the Sacred Way, affiliated with the Ming Tombs, is a main attractions arranged for you. The Ming Tombs lie in Changping County, about 50 kilometers (31 miles) northwest from the urban area of Beijing. It is actually a tomb cluster of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), including thirteen emperor's mausoleums, seven tombs for concubines and one grave for eunuchs.  

Sitting at the foot of Mt. Yan and occupying an area of more than 120 square kilometers (29,653 acres), it appears extremely spectacular. It was listed in the World Heritage List in 2003. Each emperor's tomb was constructed at the foot of a separate small hill, but they all share a main road called the Sacred Way. The thirteen emperor's mausoleums are similar in their architectural style and overall arrangement, only differing in size and complexity of their structures.
