3 Days Mount Huashan Adventure Tour from Xian

Day 1 Xian--Huashan

Pick up from Xian downtown hotel or Xian train station, our Xian local guide will meet you with a welcome sign "Xian Private Tour". Drive you to Huayin County for your 3 days Huashan Mountain Tour, it takes around 2 hours from Xian city.

Once you arrive, our guide will take you to have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, start your first day Huashan Tour to visit the Xiyue Temple, it was built honor the god of Mt. Huashan. It is consecrated to emperors of the past and sacrificed to the Xiyue emperor Shao Hao, having been rebuilt multiple times throughout the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties. The main buildings of Xiyue Temple are distributed on the central axis in a north-south alignment. The outer city is a Ming Dynasty building with a turret.

Next, you will visit Yuquan Temple, it is one of the active Taoist Temples in China. It is sitting at the entrance to the valley of Mount Huashan, is said to be the place where Chen Tuan cultivated himself as a recluse. With the shade of tall trees, a spring, rocks, magnificent buildings and meandering verandas, the temple has the best scenery at the foot of Mount Huashan. The spring is believed to have the same source as the Jade Well on the mountain summit’s Zhenyue Palace.

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Huayin downtown.

Day 2 Huashan

After breakfast in your hotel, our guide will take you to the main entrance of Huashan mountain. Firstly, you will take shuttle bus from Huashan Tourist center to the North Peak Cable Car station to take cable car to reach the North Peak Scenic Area. When you can see the Thousands Feet and Baichi Gorge, where you can take cable car to the top of the North Peak and there are charming scenery comes to your eyes. The cable car takes around 10 minutes to reach the North Peak, it is a engery-saving way to visit Huashan Mountain. The height of North Peak is 1,615 meters, but it’s steep cliffs on either side make it look like a walkway through the heavens.

After a short break, our guide will lead you to the East Peak. This peak is the best place to enjoy the scenery of sunrise, so you will stay here tonigt. There is a platform at the top with high but perilous location, and you could appreciate the appealing sunrise at this famous place with wide view. On the East Peak, big trees are vigorous and flourishing

When you finish your sightseeing in Huashan East Peak, our guide will take you back to your hotel for a good rest.

Day 3 Huashan--Xian

Get up early to enjoy the sunrise view at the viewing platform. After breakfast, continue your Huashan Tour to the South Peak to experience the Plank Walk Path, it is one of the highlights of Huashan Mountain. It was built using wooden planks supported by stone piles driven into the side of a perilous cliff. Walking along the Trail, you will get to experience the thrill and excitement of ascending mid-air across a precipice. The plank walk with a history more than 700 years, you will find a wooden trail on the side off the mountain cliff when you reach at 2155m high. The trail will lead to a teahouse, it was a pilgrims way for nuns and monks to pray in the old times. Nowadays its possible to walk this trail along with many other visitors, and the scariest thing is that traffic goes both ways! It's known for its fatal falls. The total length of this plank walk is arond 50 meters, and it divided into 3 sections, the lower section is the most dangerous.

Then, move on to the Middle Peak for for the Huashan Taoist Culture. As Huashan Mountain is one of the holy place for the Taosim in China, more and more Taoist people come here to pray. Once you arrive at the Middle Peak, you can visit many Taoist Temples, the most famous one is YunvTemple and it was once the self-cultivation place of Nong Yu who is the daughter of the Duke Mu of the Kingdom Qin during the Spring and Autumn Period.

Finally, head to the West Peak where you could see from a distance of the surrounding mountains rising up and down, clouds and sunglow fluttering lightly, like being in a land of immortals, and all the unhappy and pressure in your mind would disappear. If the weather & time pemit, you will catch the impressive sunset view of Huashan Mountain. After the tour, take the cable car from the West Peak Cable Car Station go down the mountain.
You will be taken back to your Xian downtown hotel or drop off at Xian train station.
