This Beijing and Xian private tour was great. Both tour guides are very knowledgeable and friendly, they provided so many information about their cities, the history and culture of China really impressed us. Drivers are nice and the cars are very clean with bottled water provided. Special thanks to Linda, tour guide in Xian. She made our Xian visit special. We are a family of 7 including elderly and a young kid, so we all have different needs but Linda was being so kind trying to assist us doing activities we liked such as arranging the bicycle tour for some of us who like to ride on the Xian city wall and a shuttle for our parents so they didn't have to walk far. That was really nice. Linda went above and beyond to sort out our hotel problems, we booked the hotel by ourselves, the hotel couldn't find our reservation when we arrived in hotel, Linda talked with them and helped us check in as the hotel staff couldn't speak English at all.

We initially were going to do the Terracotta Warriors on our own (wife, myself & teenage son) however always think tour guides (when knowledgeable) make the atractions much more fun & interesting. So we booked a private day tour with Xian Private Tour. Sam/Bonnie told us that it is important of have a local guide to explain the history and context behind the sites. We were so glad we took their advice! Our guide Anna, who is a lifelong resident of Xi'an present us with endless information during the ride out of Xian to the UNESCO site. Once we arrived at the Terra-cotta Warriors, it was soon apparent that Anna knew how to move efficiently through the many groups of tourists. We slipped between buildings avoiding much of the 'tourist trap' shops, making a beeline to the important parts of the site. This allow us to maximized the time we had to see the warriors and educational displays and minimized the commercial distractions.
If you are going to Xi'an you should definitely consider a tour with Xian Private Tour. Highly recommend!

We spent two days in Xian, the entire trip was arranged through Xian Private Tour and every detail worked flawlessly. Jack, our guide in Xian was incredible! His amazing knowledge of the city, its culture and even the traditional Chinese custome was eyr opening. Jack did a great job of guiding us through the terra cotta warriors museum, the big wild goose pagoda, he knows what tie to avoid the crowded or how to beat the lines, which is very helpful. She took us to muslim quarter and showed us which food is good and indeed, those are delicious! Thank you jack (and our skillful driver) for a great experience you made it very easy. Highly recommend this tour to anyone in Xian!

Our group flew to Xi'an from Beijing early in the morning and returned the same day. We visited the Terra-cotta Warriors, the city wall, and the muslim quarter all in one day. We had an absolutely amazing time in Xi'an which started from the moment we were met by Jack at the airport at the commencement of our visit. He was so much fun, and so attentive and considerate of our needs, ensured that everything about our trip went well. He went way beyond what was required of him, which impreseeed us great deal. He was also very knowledgeable about the local history, was easy to understand. We thoroughtly enjoyed having him as our guide. Highly recommend him and Xian Private Tour if you are planning on visiting China and Xian. 5 stars service!

After looking at the reviews and doing some research we decided to book a one day tour with Xian Private Tour. Sam/Bonnie promptly responded to e-mails we sent arranging the tour. You pay 20% deposit by PayPal and the rest of the amount due in cash on the day of your trip. This is standard for private tours in China.

Sam/Bonnie set us up with Nancy who met at our hotel lobby right on time with a sign. Nancy spoke English very well, was a wealth of knowledge about China and Xian, and had a great sense of humor. We visited Terracotta Warriors, Bell Tower and Muslim Quarters, all sites are very interesting, we also tried lots of Muslim snacks recommended by Nancy. Nancy is very knowledgeable, provided a great deal of information and history at each stop. We absolutely had a great time and the cost of the tour made money well spent. We spent two days in Xian and it was a wonderful experience. I am glad we decided to visit Xian, the ancient city of rich history. The tour operator and the tour guide were both fantastic and professional. Carol is incredibly knowledgeable and had answered for all of our questions from the history of Xian to daily life in China. She is also a genuinely nice and humorious person to spend time with! We were very happy with the experience and felt the tour was tailored to our needs.
