Welcome to China! Upon your arrival in Beijing, our Beijing driver will pick you up at the exit of the airport with a welcome signage "China Private Tour". Drive you to Beijing train station, you'll catch your bullet train to Xian, it takes around 5 hrs for one way. 

Once you arrived, you will be picked by your Xian tour guide with a sign "China Private Tour" and escorted to your hotel directly. The rest of the day is free on your own.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will happy to greet you at the hotel lobby.

Today your adventure begins with the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum is known as “the eighth Wonders of the world”, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture which is listed as the most significant discovery of the 20th century. Up to now, there has discovered a total of 179 accompanying burial pits of different connotations and various shapes in Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum area. The discovery of these pits has provided all important significance in the research of the burial system of the Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum, the characteristics structures and characteristics of the burial pits. However. What makes people feel amazing is that of all the burial pits, none has been found survived from being burnt down.

After lunch, you will be transferred back to Xian downtown and head for the Xian Ancient City Wall. As one of the UNESCO's world Heritage Site, Xi'an Ancient City Wall was built in the 14th century, under the regime of Emperor Zhuyuanzhang in Ming dynasty, had the function of protecting the cities or towns as military defense systems in ancient China. The Ancient City Wall is one of the oldest, largest and best preserved Chinese city walls, exhibits the "complete features of the rampart architecture of feudal society".

DAY 3

  • Today's Activities: Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum, Muslim Quarter

Today, you will first visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Big Goose Pagoda is one of the oldest structures in China. Originally Big Goose Pagoda consisted of a brick structure of five storeys and was about 60 meters high. First built in 589A.D. In the Sui Dynasty. Between AD 701 and AD 704 during the reign of the Empress Wu Zetian five more storeys were added to the pagoda making ten in all. Unfortunately it was damaged during World War II and reduced to seven storeys, which is as it remains today.

Next to Shaanxi History MuseumShaanxi History Museum is located to the northwest of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, which is one of the four largest museum with modern facilities in China. The museum, built in traditional Tang architectural style, houses over 370,000 cultural relics, including murals, paintings, pottery, coins, as well as bronze, gold, silver, seal and stone objects, all of which can be dated back to over 1 million years ago to the late Qing dynasty. The modern museum was built between 1983 and 2001 and its appearance recalls the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty. It was regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures” where reflect over one thousand years of Chinese history, the splendid culture and people life in ancient times. The exhibition space is divided into an introductory hall, permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions, and temporary exhibitions, as well as one that has been named the National Painting Hall. It not only show the span of culture in ancient Shaanxi, but also show the highest level of cultural development of China's social economy.

After that, head to the Muslim Quarter. Muslim Quarter is the most famous food street in Xian. It consists of Islamic food area, ethnic group shopping center, Great mosque and living area of Hui people. It is a place distinct for its delicious food and Islamic culture, with a history of more than 1000 years. The streets are paved by gray flagstone and the buildings are of Ming style. The food in the street is of north and west flavor, in which crude pancake in mutton soup, cold rice noodles, Chinese hamburger, Qishan noodles are famous Shaanxi food.

  • Today's Activities: Kuanzhai Alley, Hot-Pot, Sichuan Opera (Face Changing Show)

After breakfast, your driver will take you to Xian train station and you take train to Chengdu, it takes around 4 hours for one way. Upon on your arrival, your Chengdu tour guide and driver will pick you up at the exit and drive to your hotel directly. You can have a short rest in your hotel.

In late afternoon, start your tour to Kuanzhai Alley. It's also named Big and Small Alleys in Chengdu, Kuanzhai Alley is one of the three preserved old blocks after Daci Monastery and Wenshu Monastery, a newly renovated Qing dynasty district, featuring three parallel alleys or hutongs. Kuanzhai Alley is a nice place for visitors stroll around, it houses with different characters like there is a traditional painting house, an old tea house. Kuanzhai Alley showcases the original local lifestyle. It has been one of the most popular tourist sites in Chengdu.

Later, drive you to Hot-Pot Restaurant. The hot pot is one of Sichuan's oldest methods of cooking and is still a popular choice for a night out in Chengdu. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table. Typical hot pot dishes include thinly sliced meat, leaf vegetables, mushrooms, wontons, egg dumplings, and seafood. Vegetables, fish, and meat should be fresh. The hot pot in Chengdu can be very spicy because almost everyone lives here loves spicy. But there is also a choice of non-spicy hot pot.

After dinner, you'll enjoy Sichuan Opera (Face Changing Show). Sichuan Opera is one of the most famous traditional Chinese operas. It was origin in Sichuan province about 1,700 years ago. Sichuan Opera plays an important part of the Chengdu culture and has wide spread in southwestern China - Sichuan Province, Yunnan Province and Guizhou Province. Sichuan Opera is traditionally enjoyed in a tea house atmosphere, where the audience can relax with tasty snacks and hot tea while enjoying the boisterous performance. You are able to admire the top three distinct featured performances: Changing Faces, Fire Spitting, and Rolling Light, and also enjoy other same famous and interesting show: Hand concept play accompanied by pleasant light music.

Firstly, drive you to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre. Panda Breeding and Research Center is one of the most popular destinations for foreign travelers, is famous for its endeavoring work in protection of endangered species such as giant pandas, small pandas and black-necked cranes. And it's a must-go place when you go to Chengdu. The Panda base not only takes care of breeding pandas, but also focuses on providing interactive activities that teach people about pandas and their protection. Move on to Wuhou Temple, Wuhou Temple, also known as Memorial Temple of Marquis Wu, is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the Marquis Wu (Wuhou) of Kingdom of Shu in the Three Kingdoms Period (220 - 280).

The last stop is Green Ram Taoism Temple,  Qing Yang Gong is located in Chengdu City, SiChuan Province, on West Section 2 of the First Ring Road along the Jinjiang River. According to legend, Qing Yang Gong is the birthplace of the founder of Taoism, Lao Tsu, and is where he made the first sermon on Taoism. Qing Yang Gong is more than a home to some bronze statues. In fact, it’s the oldest temple in Chengdu, surviving numerous calamities throughout its history.
