Day 1 Xian

In the morning, your local Xi'an tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in Xi'an or Xi'an train station, you will find a welcome signage "Xi'an Private Tour".

Your Xian adventure tour begins with Huangdi Mausoleum (it takes around 2 hours). It is the burial site of the Chinese legendary Yellow Emperor. Also called Huangdiling. Yellow Emperor is a legendary Chinese sovereign and cultural hero who is considered in Chinese mythology to be the ancestor of all Han Chinese.

He emerged as a chief deity of Taoism during the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 AD). The legend of his victory in the war against Emperor Chi You at the Battle of Zhuolu is seen as the establishment of the Han Chinese nationality.

Enjoy lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. Our tour guide will show you to the most popular restaurants near the Huangdi Tomb and give you good recommendations on spot.

After lunch, and have a short rest then head to visit the Xuanyuan Temple. Xuanyuan Temple is also called Huangdi Temple, built in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Named after the Yellow Emperor's personal name "Xuanyuan" recorded in the Shiji, is a temple dedicated to the religion of Huangdi in Huangling, and the largest of such temples in China.

At the end of the day trip, return to your hotel near the Huangdi Mausoleum.

Day 2 Xian

After breakfast, our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and you will be transfferred to Hukou waterfalls (around 2 hours).

Hukou Waterfalls is the largest waterfall on the Yellow River, the second largest waterfall in China (after the Huangguoshu Waterfall) reaches of the Yellow River flow through Jinxia Grand Canyon. The thundering sound can be heard from quite a distance. The tremendous mass of water strikes the rocks, creating piles of foam and huge water poles. It is an amazing view with mist all around. The Hukou Waterfalls has for years attracted visitors from all over the world. You can have a better understanding of natural wonder if you come here in person. It will give you a warm welcome with its thrilling sound, rolling golden waves, changing scenery and majestic vigor.

Just below the waterfall, there is a shining stone called guishi. What makes the stone mysterious is that it moves up and down according to the water level. No matter how large the water volume, it is still at least partly visible.

The waterfalls's velocity increases, and then plunges over a narrow opening on a cliff on the river bed, forming a waterfall 15m high and 20m wide, as if water is pouring down from a huge teapot, hence the name Hukou (literally, the mouth of teapot) Waterfalls.

In the middle of the river, about 3,000 m (9,843 ft) from the Hukou Waterfall, an enormous rock catches the attention of visitors. When the Yellow River flows to this point, divides into two, rolling and roaring on and on from both sides of the rock before reconverging.

Beneath the waterfall is the Qilangwo Bridge, connects the two provinces of Shanxi and Shaanxi. In the sunshine, the mist is refracted by sunlight to create a rainbow spanning the water like a colorful bridge. In 1991, Hukou Waterfall was named one of the "40 Best" national scenic spots.

After finished Hukou waterfalls, drive you back to Xi'an hotel or Xi'an train station and your tour ends.
